Awesome Angels!!

 Hi and welcome back to my blog, today I am going to be showing you my maths for this week. It is on angels and how much digrerse they are. My goal was dentify and construct right, acute and obtuse angles, know the number of degrees that make a quarter turn, half turn, three quarter turn and a whole turn. Know that the angle at a point is 360°. I made a poster to show my understanding of angles I hope you like it. What is the biggest angel on the poster?

House of Bricks Reflection

Kia ora today I am going to show you my House Of Bricks Relfection I hope you enjoy!

My favourite Lego activity was the racing cars because I got to make a car with my buddy and we got to put our ideas together to make a better car. My buddy was Mikayla and we had lots of fun working together because we are friends and we always play together on the playground. At home I always play with lego because it makes me happy.

My least favourite Lego activity was passing the bricks because the other people at my mat all had different ideas to me and I was trying to build a house and it was a playground instead. I thought that it was something else. The mat that I was at had only 3 colours and the colours were red, yellow and blue.  

The activity that tested my perseverance the most was the tower because it was really hard to work with lots of people and we got a big tower but some people didn’t build it. They just grabbed bricks to pass to us so we could get it done quicker. At the end we got one of the biggest towers and we got 2nd. We were really happy but it was really hard.

The most challenging activity was the tower because it was hard to all make one big tower at the same time and all the hands would be in and you might not be able to make your tower bigger. You would just keep on building up none stop but it was still fun.

I enjoyed working collaboratively with others because it was more fun and it made all our things better to use and we would put all our ideas together to make one good idea that had teamwork all put together into that one thing.

Wondful writting

Kia ora today I am going to show you my writting for this I week. I did it on how to care for a dopg and it was really fun. I have a dog at home and his name is Motor he is so cute. It is also the first week back at school from the holidays hope you enjoy 

How to care for a dog

 Hi I am Olivia and this text is about how you should look after your dog or if you want a dog you

will know how to look after it and know what you need to provide it with the stuff that it will need.

What is your favourite breed of dog? Mine is a golden Retriever

You will need to know to always give your dog food every morning and night.

It is very important. You also need to give your dog water because it needs to stay hydrated

so it is very important. If you don’t give your dog food and water because sometimes it can die.

You also need to keep your dog fit because then it might be lazy and won't run around or play

with you. You need to train your dog properly because it might hurt you or bite you

sometime, maybe even eat your shoes.  If you want to dog walks you 

Sometimes you need to take your dog out for some fresh air in the car with the window down.

You need to wash your dog because it can get fleas and really smelly.

The wonder of writting

Hi blogger's, today I am going to show you my writting for this week it is about how you should not litter. It is better if we don''t litter because then all the turtle and dolphans would dying and nobody would want sea creatures to die. I want to help save the enviorment.  What is your favourite animal?

Imagine all the turtles and animals dying?

Sea creatures

I want all the sea turtles to stay alive but not just turtles, also fishes and lots more. It is better if we don’t litter lakes and river

 also the sea will be filled with rubbish. And all the animals would die. Imagine a turtle dying and a lot of fish dying 

and some creatures could be extinct from eating plastics.

How you can help

If you want to help you can start to recycle and avoid buying single use plastics. If plastics end up in the ocean

 animals can eat it and get caught in it and then they can lose their family’s and can die. That is not a thing you 

want to happen to animals and sea creatures. So you need to help them.

What we can do

If you want to know what to do about it. If you have anything that is plastic, put it in the recycling bin not just on the ground in

 the bin. And if you have plastic toothbrushes replace them with bamboo ones it is better for our environment.  So please help the

A grouth mindset is when you challenge yourself to do something and you don't hold yourself back. And a fixed mindset is when you hold yourself back and you say stuff like I give up or its to hard. Today I am going to show you my pick a path that I did for maths. It was really fun to make and at the end I keept on playing it. My favourite part about making my pick a path is that you can play it at the end. For this task I did fractsions. School should ban junk food

Should schools ban junk food!

Imagine a world not being healthy, the world would be so horrible and boring?

But, I think schools should ban Junk Food. Nobody wants to be made fun of from their food because they don’t eat healthy and don’t exercise. And trust me nobody would want to be made fun of at all.

I think that school should ban junk food because it’s not gonna make us exercise and it’s not gonna make us happy because we won't be feeling very good if we eat too much. If we eat healthy food the world would be so much better and lots of people will exercise. You can still have some junk food but not so much as long as you exercise accordingly.

Please it will be better if we ban junk food.

Interesting Dinosaurs

Hi and welcome back to my blog, today I am going to tell you about Dinosaurs. I like dinosaurs and lots of other people do to and they are pretty cool to learn about. I did this task for my reading task board and it was really fun to learn about. I hope you will like it so enjoy. But have you ever done somthing about a endagerd animal like a dinosaur?

 

1. The earliest dinosaurs appeared about ove 245 million years ago during the triassic period.

2. Pangaea split apart so all dinosaurs separated for the first time giving rise to many more species of dinosaurs.

3. According to scetest more then 1,0000 species of dinosaurs have roamed the earth maybe one day will come back.

4. There are over 10 million different species of dinosaurs and there are more that are not yet discovered.

5. There are lots of different moves about dinosaurs that say that one day the dinosaurs will come back and some people say moves can produce the future.

Umbrella

 Kia ora, and welcome back to my blog this week for writting I am doing the story umbrella and it is a award winning show this is about empathy. Empathy is walking in somone elses shoes and being a happy and kind person. It is about a orphanage and a little boy have fun reading and hope you will enjoy it.

Early one stormy and dark morning, the door to Miss Elem’s home for Children opened nice and wide. The girl with the umbrella that was as yellow as a lemon, quietly walked in trying to find a place for her umbrella. The boy Jimbo was peeking over the door not wanting to be seen, he quickly whipped his head and hiid so the girl didn’t see him. The girl walked in the living room and saw the exciting scene so the children looked in the box to see what they had in there. The girl excitedly smiled  as she saw the little boy playing with the doll like it was his real friend. The girl's  cheerful smile flushed away as her beloved umbrella was gone.

Margaret Mahy

Hi bloggers, I went to  Margaret Mahy playground with Tumu hub last term. We went on the bus there. Then we walked down to all the places. Then we got to do the activities and to play. We visited Victoria Square, Margaret Mahy Playground, fed the tuna and went on the waka.

My favourite part of the trip was the waka because we learnt how to row a waka in time with everyone. We also got to sing songs. It was so fun. I also liked Victoria Square because we got to learn new facts and got to look at the statues there were signs everywhere. We got to look at the kai table because kai means food and table means table so it is basically called a food 

table .

Something I learnt was that Victoria Square used to be called market square a long long time ago and they would share food and trade food they would do lots of stuff. They have a really cool statue of Queen Victoria and the other one was of Captain James Cook.

The thing I found the most interesting was the mats because they are all around the park and they all mean different things. There was also one at Victoria square that was about water and it was very cool. I learnt that all mats have a different meaning.

This trip has helped me with my PBL because I have ideas about what we can do at our school and what we could have like at victoria square there was a pou and I was thinking we could bring that idea to our school so that we are a school in ngu tahu regen and mauritius

This is my Caritas. It is a donation place for the people all around the world and it is for the people with no food and no water or money but is for all people.
